All about me.

Hello there. I've had a bit of a dull day today, so now I'm making up for it by blogging. Oh, and tweeting too.

So, I thought as most of my blogs are about Sue and Giles, I'd do something different, and tell you a bit more about me. Why not?

So... here's the basics:

Interests: Music, comedy, drawing, writing, reading (mainly The Times), singing, dancing (I'm not great, but I'm not bad), watching TV - mainly Sue and Giles, which is hardly surprising.

Fave people: Sue, Giles, Mel, Lady Gaga, Lily Allen, Miranda Hart, Rufus Hound, Marcus Brigstocke, Mark Watson, Howard Read, Little Howard (but to be fair he is a cartoon). And there are more, but you know, it's hard to name them all. Especially people that are my real friends and family.

Fave songs: Right There, Mr Saxobeat, Give Me Everything, Save The World, Notorious. These are the latest songs that I'm into.

Fave TV shows: The Supersizers Eat... and The Supersizers Go..., Little Howard's Big Question, Sorry I've Got No Head, Drop Dead Diva, Kerry Katona The Next Chapter, Giles and Sue Live The Good Life, Giles and Sue's Royal Wedding. These are again the more recent shows that I'm into.

Ok, so there you go. There is a little bit more about me, that you may or may not have known.

Thanks for reading.

Song for @gilescoren !

Hello there! Today I have a little song for you guys. I made it up yesterday, after the whole footballer incident in the news, involving Twitter and many celebrities including Giles Coren. A lot of people may have been sent to prison if it weren't for John Hemming for revealing the footballer's name in the House of Commons. Thank god he did, otherwise, Giles may be in prison right now.

And this song was meant for Giles if he actually got sent to prison. And I would of gladly sung it outside the court which Giles would of gone to, and here is how it goes...

Set Him Free (Giles Coren)

He's got a young daughter called Kitty,
She is rather pretty,
Which is why it would be a pity,
To send him to jail 'till he's 83.

He is not guilty,
He is not guilty,
He is not guilty,
Set him free.

Just let him go now,
'Cause we all know now,
That he is not guilty,
So set him free.

Set him free (woop woop)
Set him free (woop woop)
Set him free (woop woop)
Set him free...

Now in the style of Let It Be (by The Beatles):

Set him free,
Set him free,
Set him free,
Set him free...
Speaking words of wisdom,
Set him free...

(Repeat once.)

He is not guilty,
No, he is not guilty,
He is not guilty,
So set him free.

Set him free.
Set him free.
Yeah, set, him...
Free...

The End.

Hope you enjoyed my little song, and sorry I couldn't sing it for you, but I don't know how to add sound to my blog post.

Lots of love, Miss Supersizer. xxx

Sue and Gaga - what's the difference?

Hello! Yeah, an odd blog post today. What IS the difference between Lady Gaga and Sue Perkins?

Ha ha! Well... shall we list the similarities first? Yeah.

The Similarities

  • They both have great hair! (Just check my recent tweets to @NadazWozEre.)
  • They are both very talented! (SO true! Gaga can sing, and Sue makes me laugh - a lot!)
  • They both have a great dress sense! (True, even though they dress completely differently to each other.)
  • They are both energetic! (Yep, can't say no to that one! Sue walks her three dogs and Gaga dances.)
  • They are both famous. (An obvious one.)
  • They are both women. (Again, obvious.)
  • They have both been on TV. (Obvious, and in different things - Gaga's been in music videos, while Sue has been on 'The Supersizers', 'Light Lunch' and 'The Great Britsh Bake Off'.
Enough similarities for now. What about the differences?

The Differences

  • They look completely different. (Sue dresses in jeans, jumpers and trainers, whilst Gaga dresses in all kinds of things - dresses, meat, and really high heeled shoes!)
  • They sound different. (Sue's voice is very different to Gaga's. She can do lots of accents, Gaga can sing, that's it for her really.)
  • They are doing different things. (Gaga's a singer, and Sue's a comedian. Simples. Ha ha!)
  • Their hair is different. (Sue's is dark brown/black - more black, and Gaga's is blonde - most of the time, except if it has streaks of pink or purple in it.)
  • They have different attitudes to religion. (This is getting deep now. Sue went to a Catholic School, but isn't, and Gaga is very religious, and believes in Jesus and God.)
That'll do for differences.

So, what do you think? Are they more alike than different? I guess that is up to you.

But, both are awesome people, and I love them both in different ways. Sue is my idol - definately! And Gaga is my fave music artist at the moment, because she is so unique and different! I hope I've summed them up well, and please do let me know what you think of them too.

Lots of love, Miss Supersizer. xxx

Something I created using magnets.

Hello everyone! I thought I'd show you all this - which I made out of magnets. Hope you like it!

Sue, Giles and Mel.
Here it is! What do you think? I've made Sue, Giles and Mel's names out of magnets. They came free with a juice drink I like to buy. It took me ages to collect the right letters to make this.

I am really pleased with it. It now is on my fridge, and every day I see it. It makes me smile. I hope it made you smile too. Do please comment on this blog post. If not, then please, feel free to tweet me at - Supersizer1 on Twitter.

Thank you for reading.

Bye for now, Miss Supersizer. xxx

Blogging Buzz - I'm going to blog my heart out!

Hello everyone! I thought I'd blog today seeing as I haven't for a while. Also, because I promised I would on Twitter last night.

News, news, and more news: last night I watched 'The Supersizers Go... Elizabethan' and it was a hoot! I really enjoyed it, and Giles and Sue were as funny as I remembered them the first time I saw that episode. It was set in the Elizabethan times (of course) and the time when Elizabeth the 1st was on the throne and Shakespeare was alive.

Giles and Sue started the show, by going to the doctors for a check up. Both were pretty good weights, except Giles was a bit overweight, and Sue was in between under and normal weight. Giles said it was because she was a vegetarian, and Sue laughed, and couldn't stop laughing for a while.

Then, they got into their Elizabethan gear, as a wealthy married couple.

Then, over the course of seven days, they ate all Elizabethan food, mainly consisting of meat and sugar, and beer. This was definately NOT one of my fave, as far as the food was concerned. No way! Too much meat, and not enough fruit and veg (not that I'm a big fruit or veg eater) and no water AT ALL! I can't live without water in my diet! Also, there was no tea or coffee, which, for me, wouldn't be very nice either. I love my tea! Especially ordinary (not sure what brand it is right now) and herbal - that's Twinings and RedBush. They're my faves.

Anyways, at the end of the week, Giles and Sue went back to the doctors, and they had actually LOST weight. Sue had lost more than Giles. Then Sue said that she was glad about going home for the weekend and aiming to put on a stone in weight. As would I be! But, not all at once. And she wanted to buy three BUCKETS of tea, and drink it! A bit extreme, but hilarious!!!

Anywho... I loved this episode, and would give it an 8/10 - purely on its comedic style and the clothes they wore and quite disgusting food they ate. The history part wasn't what I liked best. Although I do like the time period, especially as it was when Shakespeare was around.

So, bye for now people of Blogger!

A day in the life of a Princess...

Dear followers,

Today I am a Princess! Princess Supersizer! I have been married now to a certain Prince who I have never even seen, you see, he and I married blind folded (I know, weird, right?) and so I never actually saw his face, but his voice sounded nice. And we have only recently married today. Our honeymoon is fast approaching. And our ceremony was very quick, no party afterwards or anything. I had a tea party with my family this afternoon though, and that was nice. It'll be the last time I see them for two weeks, so that I am not looking forward to.

But I am looking forward to the honeymoon. Ah... sunny Australia. Yep, Australia!!! It's going to be awesome!

I love the sunshine. Today I even looked out of my window at home, and thought that in a few days I'll be in Australia, soaking up the sun there.

Also, even though I just got married today, I did have to perform a few duties, you know, the really boring Royal ones. I had to open a shop and knight a few men, the Queen was busy you see. Hmph. So today's been pretty busy.

Later, I'll be getting an early night, hopefully, as I have to be up early. Shame that, it's my wedding night for goodness sake!

...

So... my day as a Princess... pretty good start...

I woke up at 10:30am, then slept in until 11:30. Bliss...

Then of course, I had to rush to get my wedding dress on and get my make-up done.

Later, at about 1pm, I got to the church, in a cab, as I didn't want to draw attention to myself.

We got married at 1:20. Then I went straight home. Yeah... no running away with the Prince.

And then I had a tea party with the family, and then opened the shop etc.

And then finally, back home, to blog.

Oh, and did I forget to mention that I also tweeted Giles Coren, sorry, Prince Giles. And... he tweeted back, see we have met before (this is actually true) and so he knows me.

It's so nice to have a Royal friend (well, someone I know who's Royal).

Anyways, day over. Bye for now folks, Miss, sorry, Princess Supersizer. xxx

P.S. These events, apart from tweeting and meeting Giles, are all fictional, they didn't really happen. But if they had, it would of been really cool.

The Supersizers Go... Seventies! (My review.)

Hello everyone!

I am so pleased to announce that I have FINALLY watched one of the 'Supersizers' repeats!!! The 70s one! I love this one SO much! The clothes, the food, the banter between Giles and Sue... well everything really! It's definately one of my favourites! Possibly the best from the 'Supersizers Go...' series.

And to start off I'd like to show you some pictures I took from the show. (I took them myself - from the TV.)

Giles doing DIY!

Breakfast in bed - the Sue and Giles way!
Sue drinking SlimFast!
Giles: "Ooo... smoked cheese."
<>
Sue's cool shades.
Sue and Giles preparing cocktails for their dinner party.
Sue being a cat!
Sue at her typewriter. I wonder what she is writing?
This is what Sue was typing.
<>
Giles Coren as a kid. Aww...
Sue as a kid. Aww... just as cute as Giles!

Sue's gorgeous make-up!

So, I hope you all liked my "photo album" from the show. I do have more pictures, but I didn't want to use too many. My favourite moment from the episode has to be when Sue and Giles are on the aeroplane - concorde, and Giles is eating cheese, and wonders whether it is smoked or not. It made me laugh so hard!

So, as a special treat for you all, I have written a transcipt of this part. Hope you like it!

Giles Coren: Ooo... smoked cheese.

Or is it not smoked cheese?

...

It's either smoked or not smoked.

Sue Perkins: Oh good. Says Giles Coren, restaurant critic for The Times.

It's either smoked or...

It's either Grand Marnier ot it's not Grand Marnier.

...

Was that champagne, or was it red wine?

I hope you all enjoyed reading my transcript of Sue and Giles talking about cheese!!!

I loved the episode so much, it was a delight to see them dressed in their seventies gear, and eating the seventies food. Especially the sweet food. Like Angel Delight! And Arctic Roll - which I've had before and really like! It's basically a vanilla ice-cream with a sponge coating, and it's gorgeous! I dare you to try it!

Their seventies clothes really suited them, and Sue looked especially cool, with her big purple hat, and huge dark brown shades. And Giles looked very smart in his brown suit.

And my final score on this episode... is... a 9/10!!! Fabulous! xxx

Lots of love, and see you next time, Miss Supersizer (my new name - just check my Twitter account) !

Don't Scare the Hare, episode 2!

Hello everyone! I haven't blogged for a while now, been too busy. But, it being a Sunday and all, I have a little spare time, and I've just been catching up on this week's 'Don't Scare the Hare', and it didn't disappoint at all! It's possibly better the second time. And there are some new challenges for the contestants.

The new challenges include: carrots that are on electrified storks, not the Stork - the bird, I mean a stem sort of stork. Anyways, the contestants have to retrieve the carrots from these storks without setting off the storks, or it'll scare the hare, and of course you don't want to do that!

Another challenge is to take 3 eggs to 3 egg cups, but it's not that simple... you have to take the eggs through an assault course, which is quite tricky, and one of the obsticles are stepping stones that spin! And the girl - Gemma, found that very tricky indeed! I know I would have too!

So, all in all, it was another fantastic episode.

I think it deserves another... 8/10!

See you all next time, Ss1!
