Hello again readers! It's me... Supersizer1, with the latest news on Sue and Giles.
Today, I went to buy The Times newspaper from one of my local shops, and went to a local cafe, where I read an interesting and funny article about Sue and Giles' new show 'Giles and Sue Live The Good Life'. This was in a pullout about 'austerity' in the middle of the paper. And on the front cover, Sue and Giles are dressed up as Tom and Barbara Good, from the 70s sitcom The Good Life.
Inside the pullout was a two page article guiding people on how to live like Tom and Barbara, as well as quotes from Sue and Giles, and photos of them filming their new show. On the left they are dressed as Tom and Barbara, and on the right they're dressed as Margo and Jerry (which I stress, is the funniest picture I've seen of them in ages) . Also, below the photo of them as Tom & Barb. is a photo of Sue and Giles' chicken coup. Which, as I remember from their tweets in May, whilst they were still filming the show, Giles posted a photo on Twitpic of the chicken coup, and said Sue painted it. It's a sort of mix between pink and purple. Infact, it looks like a professional painted it (who knows, maybe Sue is a painter, and she just never told anyone) .
On the bottom right of the two page pullout, there's a picture of Sue and Giles with their goat Geraldine, and Sue is standing on the right, milking it, while Giles is on the left, sitting down, starring at the goat's udder/teats, and by the look on his face, he seems a bit horrified by Sue milking Geraldine. Also, just above this photo it describes 'How to milk a goat'. And all of the tips on how to live 'a life of austerity' have a heading, which are brightly highlighted in different colours, such as deep pink, green, purple and blue.
All in all, it's a very good article, and based on the photos of Sue and Giles filming their new show, it looks as though it's going to be a good one. Let's hope it lives up to 'The Supersizers Eat' and 'Go' series.
