Giles and Sue Live The Good Life - the Christmas special!

Hello there! Nice of you to join me here (on my blog) at Christmas. First of all today I'd like to wish you a Merry Christmas, hope you're having a nice time, and enjoying yourself. And I hope, like me, you enjoyed watching the Christmas special of 'Giles and Sue Live The Good Life'.

I thought it was great to have an episode especially for Christmas - even though they filmed it in the summer, which you could never tell, until, of course, Sue says that it's not real snow, when her and Giles are having a snowball fight in the back garden.

And the snow wasn't the only thing Christmassy about the snow, they also made their very own Christmas cards, which Giles and Sue decorated themselves. Giles' card had a Christmas tree on it, with the words 'Merry Christmas' on the top of the card, but the word 'Christmas' wasn't exactly straight, it sort of curved around the side of the card, as Giles had run out of room to write it across the top of the card. And Sue's card had a piece of holly on the top of it, which she'd painted and even shaded the berries.

They also made their own Christmas crackers, paper hats, and Sue wrote jokes to go inside the crackers. And they posted their hand made Christmas cards on foot, whilst they walked the two goats. And they even got each other presents - Sue knitted Giles a 70s style, yellow and brown jumper, and Giles got Sue a red pair of wellies. Giles brought the presents into the bedroom, wearing blue pyjamas and a red and white Santa hat, whilst Sue was still asleep, placed them rather noisily on the bed and said "Santa's been!".

I thought it was the best episode of the series, and it was really fun to watch. They came across as though they had lots of fun making it, which was nice to see. And there were some really mermorable moments, such as Giles taking one of the turkies into the kitchen, placing it in front of the oven and telling it to "hop in" there. Also when Giles made a robin, which looked very realistic and detailed. Another moment which really stuck out in my mind was when Giles and Sue were in the living room and started drinking all sorts of cocktails off of a trolley, whilst they were dressed as Jerry and Margo. And by the end of their drinking session they were falling about quite a bit, and Giles nearly knocked over the cocktail trolley.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable show to watch, and I hope you liked it too. Please do leave a comment if you have anything you'd like to say about the show.

Thanks for reading, and bye for now. Ss1!
